Who we are: We are a part of the Mission Community Policing Group, operating under the direction of the OIC of the Mission Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The day to day operation of the patrol is supervised by the Mission RCMP Community Policing / Crime Prevention Section and the program Chairman. |
Our mission: As a group of concerned citizens we are working together to encourage dedicated community volunteers to be of assistance to the Police by patrolling designated areas to observe any possible criminal activity. By being an extra set of "eyes and ears", the Patrol is able to assist in the deterrence of crime in this community. The Patrol is not designed to replace the regular police force but allows the police to be able to direct their focus on other areas of potential crime. |
